Acceptance of these terms

By creating a Fixo account, scanning a Fixo QR code, or otherwise using the Fixo platform (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

These Terms form a binding contract between you and Fixo Operations. They apply alongside our Privacy Policy.

Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
  • You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate information about yourself and the venues you operate.
  • One person, one account — don't share credentials with others.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Place QR codes on devices you don't operate or have permission to manage
  • Submit reports you know to be false, misleading, or designed to harass
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, anti-abuse systems, or access controls
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right

We may suspend accounts and remove content that violates this section, with or without notice for serious or repeated violations.

Reports & content

Customer reports are submitted anonymously and routed to the device owner. You — as the device owner — are responsible for what you do with them, including any follow-up communication or operational decisions.

You retain all rights in content you submit. You grant Fixo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content solely to provide the Service.

Plans & billing

Free tier. Up to 2 locations and 25 devices per location. No credit card required, no countdown, no auto-conversion. You can stay on free indefinitely.

Paid tiers. When introduced, paid plans will be billed monthly or annually in advance via the in-app billing provider. You can cancel from inside the app; cancellations stop the next renewal but don't refund the current period.

Prices, limits, and feature scope may change. We'll notify active subscribers at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.

Availability & changes

We aim for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may release new features, change existing ones, or retire features that aren't working out. Material changes will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that have been inactive for an extended period, or where required by law.

On termination, your data is deleted according to the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. Fixo is a tool for tracking and routing issue reports — it is not a substitute for proper inspection, maintenance, or safety procedures on the physical devices you operate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) €100. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g. for gross negligence or wilful misconduct).

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Berlin, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you a different right.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
